Being raised in both Sonoma and Napa Valleys in California I was accustomed to good food and wine from a young age. My family was in the food business and taught me a lot about Italian cuisine (my father was from an Italian family). Destiny brought me to a tiny town in Piemonte Italy where I have now lived for 6 years! My passion for food and wine has grown and I am always learning more about Italian habits. Piemonte is a very unique area and does not offer your stereotypical pasta with vegetables and tomato sauce. I am currently teaching English and collaborating on a book called Sovversivi del Gusto.
